BMW M1 Concept has been canceled! Why!?

Rating: |  Comments: 1  |  Posted on Monday, August 25, 2008

According to news sources, the BMW M1 Concept has been canceled from production. This is bad news for car enthusiasts around the world. The M1 was the most revolutionary and bold design to come out from the Munich based car makers in many, many years.

However, due to the rising gas prices and the grim financial forecast for BMW for the upcoming year, BMW has decided that now is not the right time for this car. Instead, BMW’s number one goal is to focus on developing “greener” cars in the upcoming years.

At one point the car was approved for production and we were excited that BMW is coming out with a Audi R8-rival. However, the brutal reality dictates that this will not happen in the near future. Who knows, this car might not be dead after all and will see the light of day when the global economy picks up again. Until then enjoy the pictures, the lines of this car are simply stunning!

It does have beautiful lines, if you like Lambo copies.
Let's get original.
